Paul Allan Cole

Sunday, 6/25/00, 9:02 PM

Close personal friend of Colonel Galen Rosher. My tours in Vietnam were with

11th Avn Co, 1st Air Cavalry Division Airmobile 1966-67 and CO, Co B Lancers

158th AHB, 101st Airborne-Airmobile Division 1970-71. I was an old paratrooper

of the 1950's and I retired after 25 years military service in 1978, then spent 20

years working for General Motors and retired from GM in 1998. 45 years was

enough. I enjoyed serving as Major General John Norton's pilot when he was CG

of the 1st Air Cav in 1966-67 -- and, serving as CO, B-Co Lancers with the 101st

Airborne in I-Corps 1970-71. Gary Owen! Best wishes and best regards! Paul

Hi, my Dad's name is Del Dinsmore and he served as gunner/crewchief for the CO in

Bong Son. He was a member of the 1/9th Cav in 1966-67. He was briefly stationed at

LZ Hammond. Dad remembers Craig Castle, Johnny Corn, and Kemph Breedlove. He

served unter Major Bagnell, but he was one of three. Any help would be appreciated,

I have already spent $100 to find Mr. Castle and was scammed. Please email me at

jalenedinsmore@hotmail.com if anyone remembers him. thanks, Jalene

Wow! Not a day goes by that I don't think about climbing into that LOH and going

hunting. I haven't seen or heard from a single scout team member since I was

medivaced 1-15-70 (with a superficial golden-boy wound). Never knew any of the guys

before then and haven't seen anyone in 30 years, but they are all still very much in

my thoughts. Nobody know what BALLS it took to fly hunter-killer teams except the

people who did it. Sure would like to communicate with someone who shares the

same background and understanding of how damn lucky we are to be alive and in the

"World."
